Where sea meets the sand meets the sky. Dune du Pilat is one of the more unique places in Europe to make you feel incredibly small as a human. We are used to feeling small in comparison to mountains and oceans, but rarely does sand invoke this feeling. And it’s rather ironic that you should feel like a grain of sand in, well, a big pile of sand.
